Wednesday, 28 August 2019 6:00pm - 7:30pm
Lecture Hall 348, [#423-348], Design Theatre, Conference Centre, Symonds Street, Auckland

SPEAKER: Professor Anne-Marie Brady

A new global order is emerging.  New Zealand must work hard to adjust to the shift in global politics.

China aspires to be a global great power, and is already seeking change in the global order.   Getting the China relationship right is going to be one of New Zealand’s greatest foreign policy challenges in the next few decades.

This talk surveys China’s global foreign policy agenda and assesses how it affects New Zealand’s interests.
