Diana will talk about the work of MPI in securing and maintaining vital access for New Zealand primary produce to overseas markets - a topic of relevance and importance to the Hawkes Bay economy.
Before taking up her current role, Diana spent over twenty years working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, latterly as Ambassador in Brussels, where she was closely involved in Free Trade Agreement negotiations with the EU.
As usual our meeting will be held at 2pm at the Havelock North Club (4 Campbell Street), with a door charge of $8 to cover venue and afternoon tea costs. A reminder that our meetings are held under the Chatham House Rule.
