It provides a platform for experts from Government, business, academia, and non-Government organisations both from New Zealand and overseas to discuss the most important international affairs issues of our times.
The Conference theme focuses on solutions in international affairs, rather than detailing the many problems facing the world.
This year's Conference builds on the Institute’s reputation for fostering expert discussion and understanding of international affairs, especially relating to Aotearoa New Zealand. It aims to reach the high professional standards of previous NZIIA Conferences, which have included keynote addresses from the Prime Minister, Foreign Ministers and leaders in Government, business and academia from around the world.
