The NZIIA Wellington Branch Student Sub Committee invites you to a roundtable discussion about the US tariff policy and the international political economy with Stephen Jacobi, former New Zealand diplomat and current Executive Director or the New Zealand International Business Forum.

About Stephen Jacobi
In addition to his role as the Executive Director of the New Zealand International Business Forum, Stephen Jacobi has:
- Led international trade initiatives including providing policy advice as part of New Zealand’s representation on the APEC Business Advisory Council.
- Served in various high-profile roles such as Deputy High Commissioner in Ottawa, Assistant Trade Commissioner in Paris, and advisor on trade matters at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
- Acted as Executive Director of both the NZ US Council and the NZ China Council, earning accolades such as a commendation from the Foreign Minister of Japan.
- Experience as a Fulbright Scholar and Visiting Researcher at Georgetown University.
