Mr Wilson is a former senior New Zealand diplomat, with a strong career background in Asia.  The topic of his talk will be The Fall of Saigon - 50 years On.  

Frank Wilson witnessed the fall of Saigon in April 1975.  He will talk about his own experiences, that of some other New Zealanders there at the time, and what the fall of Saigon meant for New Zealand, and its wider regional and international implications.

As usual, our meeting will be held at the Havelock North Club (8 Campbell Street), starting at 2pm, running through until about 3.30pm (including afternoon tea).  The standard door charge of $8 will apply, to cover venue and afternoon tea costs.
