The UK political scene: after three tumultuous years

Simon is currently the Chair of the UK Trade Remedies Authority.  He was Director General of the Institute of Directors from 2011 to 2016, having previously been Communications Secretary to HM Queen Elizabeth II and an advisor to former Prime Minister, John Major.  After graduating from Oxford in 1974, Simon became a TV journalist with TV One in New Zealand.  Over a period of five years he presented current affairs programme 'Tonight'.  Three years ago Simon spoke to us on the subject: “Brexit with the advantage of hindsight". 

Simon lives with his wife Mary Strang in England.  Mary continues to chair The Foundation of Australia and New Zealand Arts based in London.
